Are you an accomplished professional, and feel like your work has lost meaning and sense of satisfaction?

You worked so hard to get here but… something feels off.

Challenges seem insurmountable or out of your control…

You used to feel passionate and energized by your work, but now dread it…

Joy seems out of reach, despite having achieved what you want…

It almost seems like the very thing you built and strived for you no longer want.

And that can feel unnerving.

So how did you get here?

We live in a culture with very fixed ideas of success.

“Just do this, go to this school, get this job and you will be successful and happy.”

The result: we unintentionally set up our lives to revolve around external validation.

This leaves us wondering why things feel off despite achieving all the right things.

Of course, seeking some validation outside of yourself is healthy and normal, it just can’t be the only measure of success.

But when things start to feel off and ineffective, it can make you question yourself and all that you worked for, especially if you are someone who has seen their value and worth through achievement.

Listen, it’s not your fault.

We’ve been eating these ideas with our breakfast cereal since we were kids.

It came with a hearty side dish of “challenges are an indication that you are failing”.

And let’s not forget the big, tall glass of “expect work to be depleting”.

But what if the opposite is true?

What if challenges are an expected part of our day and success is measured not by our ability to “solve” the problem, but our ability to navigate the problem without it defeating us?

What if we found restoration in our work rather than outside of it?

What if you discovered that all the tools you need to feel joy and success are inside of you?

It’s time for a different approach to work.

What you probably don’t need right now is MORE strategy. As an accomplished person, you live and breathe strategy. Modern leadership, problem solving, and career satisfaction are calling for a different approach.

It's time to go within and find what you need there.

The good news is, going within is a learnable skill that comes with big rewards.

With the right support and guidance, you can get back on track, make aligned decisions and experience a deep sense of accomplishment again.

Hi, I’m Sarah, and I’m a therapist, leadership coach, and career satisfaction mentor.

After years of working with leaders who felt overwhelmed by the things that were outside of their control and surprised that more strategy only led to more ineffectiveness, I realized that I needed to help my clients realign their careers.

Essentially, I help people rediscover an internal sense of power, that cannot be shaken by external circumstances.

In my experience, it is your relationship to challenges not the challenges themselves that drag you down.

This is not to say that life will not throw stuff your way, it will, and sometimes what gets thrown at us is way more than we bargained for. But it is possible to build a toolbox and skill set that helps us surf the waves rather than being dashed on the rocks every time.

While I don’t offer a cookie-cutter approach to making it all feel great, nor will we be finding ways to flatten the landscape, but we will find you some great hiking boots and poles so you can climb the mountains of life more effectively and joyfully.

Because the truest joy is found on top of the mountain of hard work and perseverance.
